Join the test

Eatlog is in closed testing on Google Play. Google won't let me publish it until at least 12 testers stay in for 14 days straight, so every tester counts. It takes about two minutes.

  • Install Eatlog
  • While you test
  1. Join the group

Open the Google Group and tap Join group. Use the Google account your Play Store is signed in to. The group is only a tester list, so you won't get spam.

    Open the group ↗
  2. Become a tester

Open the testing page and tap Become a tester. If it says the app isn't available, you joined the group with a different Google account. Switch accounts and try again.

    Open the testing page ↗
  3. Install Eatlog

Install it from the Play Store. It updates like any other app, and when Eatlog goes public you'll just keep getting updates.

Get it on Google Play ↗

While you test

Stay in the test for at least 14 days. Google only counts testers who stay opted in that long, and if the count drops below 12 the two weeks start over.

You don't need to buy anything. Get a free Gemini key from Google AI Studio and paste it into Profile > AI estimates. Omelette is a real purchase even during the test, so only buy it if you actually want it.

Found a bug or something weird? Email sggajitos@gmail.com or open a GitHub issue. Say what you did and what happened. Don't send your key.

You can leave anytime from the testing page. The app stays installed.
